Soil Probe Telemetry
Amici Sense soil probe hardware integration, serial UART communication, level shifters setup, and field telemetry logging logs.
This document compiles the hardware integration details and multi-trial field logs of the Amici Sense soil telemetry system integrated into the Smart Agri Four Legged Bot.
1. Soil Probe Telemetry Data
Section titled “1. Soil Probe Telemetry Data”The Amici Sense soil analysis system logs soil health parameters. Telemetries are parsed via Python on the NVIDIA Jetson Nano and combined with ML outputs in a local CSV file.
Telemetry Hardware Integration
Section titled “Telemetry Hardware Integration”- Power Rail: 5V rail stepped down via a DC-DC buck converter.
- Data Bus: Serial UART communication with Jetson Nano GPIO, utilizing level shifters to step 5V signals down to Jetson-safe 3.3V levels.
- Response Time:
< 5 secondsper measurement cycle.
2. Field Logs (Three Consecutive Trials)
Section titled “2. Field Logs (Three Consecutive Trials)”Below is the telemetry dataset captured in-situ across three consecutive field trials:
